Potty Time

I started potty training Lucy. She had been doing great. We are on day three and only one poopy diaper.
My goal for her to be potty trained is 18 months.

Fishing

Our halibut boat had already been cancelled twice because the ocean was to rough. So we thought we would try a third time. It started out good and happy. We were so excited we finally got to go.

 

then this happened...can you believe our luck?

this is me trying to stay positive while Josh talked with the guy that was going to take us in the opposite direction we wanted to go.

and this is how our halibut trip ended, locked out of the house at 6 in the morning (we had been up since 3am).

Salmon Fishing

Well we were all geared up and ready to go...

 

We were so happy

 But of course the fish weren't in... just our luck!

But of course the fish don't need to be in for the more experienced fisherman.

Brett caught a big beautiful Red Salmon.

 

New Words For Lucy

Lucy has been saying a few new words lately.

• mine (I'm not really ok with the tone that goes along with this one)
• passy
• outside (sometimes its "go outside")
• na na (banana)
• night night
• gross  
• cookie
• oh gosh
• bite (she says this even if she wants a drink)
• Joshy
• Angie
• Ella
• Lucy 

And she been saying something like "I see you" but I'm not sure if thats what she is really saying. 

Iditarod- Dog Sleds

We went to meet the dog sledding team. Lucy was able to hold the puppies. And we were pulled by the bigger dogs on a sled with wheels. 

We also got to learn about Balto

My 6 year old niece went on a sling shot ride with her dad. She is so awesome and so brave! 

Sick Baby

Lucy was running a fever of 103-104 at night and during the day it would go down to around 99. This lasted for a few days. She usually gets a pretty bad fever when she cuts teeth. And it usually it doesn't last as long as it did this time. So we took her to the emergency room. But we didn't get her looked at because while we were sitting in the waiting room FOREVER, her fever went down again and by that night her fever was gone. Anyway, she is doing great now.

New Car New Car

Okay, so we have had this car for about a month now so I guess it's time to post it. It has leather seats, DVD player, tinted windows, 4 wheel drive, and sunroof. Its a perfect vehicle for the whole family. 

Our Subaru was falling apart and it had been in the shop three times in a month. The car kept coming back not fixed and more wrong with it. So we decided to say "good buy"! And yes, we left it in Idaho. Josh and I really miss it. 

And that is our beautiful view from our house...

Bumble and bumble Hair Powder

This has been my favorite product for about 6 years.
I had been using root boosters for a long time and they still seemed to weigh my hair down. I needed way more body then I was getting. My hair also gets oily at my roots and is dry at the ends. I would have to wash is more often then I would like.  

This powder gives body to the roots of your hair, its a powder shampoo, it controls oil, and you can choose what color you want so that it match's you own hair color. This powder also helps keep your hair in place when it's back-combed and if you feel like you need an extra day without washing, just spray it on your roots and your good to go!

How to use: After styling your hair. Apply it to the roots where needed. Wait a minute or two for it to dry. You can comb it or leave it. Sometimes the color doesn't match perfect so if it doesn't combing helps blend the color. It is available in 1oz and 4.4 oz bottles. Colors available are black, red, brown, blond, and white.

Also, if you're blond, get the white powder. I use the blond powder (its more of a dark blond color) on my hair and I'm light brown.    

It retails for about $37. Bumble and bumble is probably the most expensive. You can also get other brands like TIGI Rockaholic and Big Sexy Hair. These retail for around $10-$22. They awesome as well but they only come in one color.
