Pictures not to be forgotten

Story time with daddy

My birthday

She always wants to make snowmen

She was playing in the lotion again, and she knows she not suppose to do that, but I told her if she wanted to continue playing with it she would have to rub my legs while she was at it, so she wouldn't waist the lotion of course:) It actually felt really good.

This is one of my favorites. I don't know where she is going but she is all ready.

These pictures are mainly for my mom. When Lucy started talking she would always say, "my pretty", while rubbing something that was hers. My mom thought Lucy reminded her of Gollum, from The Lord of The Rings.
Lucy is actually obsessed with rings. This ring that she is holding is my mothers wedding band. I had to get a picture of her, she was definitely acting like Gollum this day.

I found her playing tea party with her favorite babies.
This is officially her first tea party while playing on her own.

She set it up all by herself

Easter

Easter was so busy, I really wish I would have gotten more pictures. We went to our ward Easter party, came home and took an hour nap, went to get Lucy's pictures taken (just a little photo shoot at the mall for her 2 years, I hope to get more when the weather clears up). Then we went to dinner and a movie. Josh wore two different shoes, he couldn't decide which ones looked better and forgot to put matching ones on before we left. We had a good laugh. I'm glad I'm not the only one losing my mind.
After we got home Josh had to finish preparing his talk for sacrament the next day. He did a wonderful job! I really loved his talk. I spoke last week, he did so much better than I could ever do.
Ward Easter party.
It was so much fun, we went to the church at 9:00 and ate a delicious breakfast and then all the children went out for an egg hunt. Lucy really enjoyed herself, except she kept on wanting to eat all the candy in the eggs before she picked up another one. She found quite a few though, one even had three quarters in it, she loves money, so that one was a hit.

Easter basket.
She loves to chew gum and suck on breath mints, this was a nice alternative to buying more candy.
The play-doh was a hit. I actually found something we both like to play with:)

I made the body and she put the rest on... the green dot in the middle is suppose to be its nose.

Product Spot Light

Dry Shampoos are great for styling, back combing, cleaning your hair when you need a extra day without a wash. It adds volume by lifting the hair off the scalp. It absorbs excess oil. It adds texture to the hair when it has that "too clean" type of feel and is unmanageable.

These are my two favorite lines. But I mostly use Pravana now because of the price difference.
Bumble and Bumble sells for $25-$37
Pravana sells for $12.50-$16

I like the KMS California, but it doesn't give the extra volume that I would like. But it is very refreshing and is great for absorbing excess oil.
It sells for $10-$14

Did not care for! I did like the smell, but it wasn't volumizing and packaging must be flawed because it stopped spraying after two weeks. I even asked the product supply store where I bought it and she informed me that this has been a continuous problem with this particular product.
This product sells for $14-$22

My first pair of little boy baby shoes that actually turned out.

My friend Maria made these cute Lucy blocks for Lucys birthday. I love the way they turned out...  and I finally got things put up on her bedroom walls.

Product Spot Light

This is by far that best skin care product! Goodbye dull, dry, blemished skin...

If you don't already know, layering your skin care is key. Using a serum and then a moisturizer is the best thing you can to do for you skin. There really is no reason to keep using just a heavy cream, you wont be getting the best benefits for your skin.

I had been using this hydrating anti-aging serum for almost 5 years, but for some random reason stopped using if for about 6 months. Honestly, what was I thinking? My skin seriously has been so mad at me for the last 6 months...Thankfully I just got some more last week.

The consistency of this is wonderful. This product can be used alone, for those who have more oil skin or are more prone to breakouts. Or, for those who have skin more like mine, dry, tight, sometimes even a dry patch once in a while. This works wonders under a LIGHT moisturizer. For daily use I use put it under my SPF 30 and I'm good to go all day.

The smell is so yummy! It smells like oranges and is extremely refreshing to put on.

Anti-aging. This product is filled with wonderful anti-oxidants that are designed just for the skin.

Hyaluronic Acid is a key ingredient when looking for a good skin care product. It plumps the skin and holds 1000 x its weight in water, which is just what you want for hydrating the skin.

Lucy is 2!

This is Lucy waiting for her guest to arrive...

She was such a good girl, I think she only stuck her finger in the cake once.

My aunt Michelle, Cousin Molly, Molly's baby Sam, and friend Sabrina came to Lucy's little party. It was so much fun visiting and eating with everyone. Lucy seemed to really enjoy having everyone over... Oh and Lucy calls my aunt Michelle Grandma.

Here is a little update on Lucy

- Potty trained, day and night!
- She can count to 5 and 8,9,10. I'm not sure where 6 and 7 went?
-She weights between 19 and 20 lbs.
- She has weird little habits like picking at her lips or biting her nails.
-Lucy is either a very picky eater or she just simply doesn't seem to enjoy food like most people. But she always seems to eat green beans. She even drinks the juice, yum. And of course green beans are the one vegetable that Josh and I like the least.
- She love loves to sing.
- Favorite toys are her tea set and ponies.
-She is still sleeping in a crib, I'm not sure we will ever get her out of it.
-She loves princess movies.

I'm 25

Okay so I'm a quarter of a century old. It seems like everyone is counting but me. To tell the truth, I haven't really enjoyed a birthday ever since I turned 20. Maybe getting older is just harder on the "youngest in the family". If you're the youngest, please give me feed back on this. But most people don't understand, and to make me feel better they always like to point out their own age and say something like, "try being 30 or at least your not 27 (thanks for that one Josh)". I'm sorry this doesn't help because I will be 27 and then 30.

Growing up I have always lied about my age, it always seemed like I was never old enough for anything. Having almost all of my friends being older than me didn't help the situation either. But it seemed like when I was growing up, I had the thought drilled into my head that I was ALWAYS going to be too young... well what a disappointment that turned out to be. Reality check. The only thing I'm too young for now is senior citizen parking.

Anyway, enough of that. I did have a great birthday. I was able to be part of an AMAZING photo shoot, more of that to come, and Josh was even nice enough to only put 9 candles on my cake, mostly because that's all we had.

I do have this little tradition I do for each birthday though. When I turned 20 I started making list of goals that I wanted to  accomplish that year. I would call the list 20 for 20 or now 25 for 25. There are goals that seem to role over each year; for instance, the motorcycle I have yet to buy or the airplane I am planning on jumping out of. But usually I do pretty well at accomplishing the goals I've set. So yes, I am looking forward to accomplishing my 25 for 25.

A decision has been made...

This is the color I am going to paint my kitchen table!

and this is the pitcher I want to buy, but wont because its $65, so I'll just have to find one like it.

Robin Egg Blue?

I am seriously thinking of painting my kitchen table robin egg blue... Tell me what you think.
Yes, this is a new table. I sold my $15 table for $40.
My mother gave me this one to use for a while, I'm so stoked! I can't wait to see how it turns out.

Also, these are my two favorite colors and they look perfect together!
I have already started decorating on my bedroom with coral red and turquoise blue, but I really would like to incorporate these colors throughout my entire apartment.
