Update

Here is a really quick and not detailed update.

Josh had two internships this summer at a couple hospitals in town, he really enjoyed them and was a little sad to leave to go back to school:) In the mean time, I went to Idaho for 4 weeks for 2 baby blessings, a baptism, a relay race, and a funeral. Then, a month later Josh and I went back to IF for the Bowman family get together at Lava Hot Springs, which was lots of fun! I wish I would have taken more pictures of the occasion.
We ended up hanging out for 3weeks in IF, we had a lot of fun being able to spend so much time with our families this summer.
Now we are back and it feels really great! Josh has been in school for a week now and I think he is already feeling stressed, but I'm not too worried about him I know he'll do great, I'm mostly just worried about his right eyebrow:)

Projects
painted my canisters. They use to be red, yellow, and clear. They look much better

Fish Tacos

Makes 6 tacos

3 tilapia fillets
dash of garlic
dash lemon pepper
olive oil
avocado
onion
tomato
cilantro
lime
Monterrey jack cheese
corn tortillas
dash of salt

* I use frozen Tilapia, cover my frying pan with oil, cook Tilapia on low-med heat, cover with lid. Meanwhile, I chop all my veggies, dash with salt and garlic powder. After Tilapia is cooked dash with lemon pepper.
* Spray olive oil Pam cooking spray on a griddle, cook both sides of tortillas, and melt the cheese on one side.
* Combine all together and add some fresh squeezed lime.

The tacos should taste fresh and lite.

June...

definitely the month of change.

We started out the month by moving in to this house. Which saves us $150 a month just in rent, plus it has a lawn and is close to Josh's work and school.

the wreath I made

Then, we sold our beautiful car that I miss so much... I really wish we didn't sell it but I guess it was the smart thing to do.

I cut my hair off and I am so glad I did it! This is the only picture I could get a hold of at the moment.

I changed my running shoes. My sister Angie talked me into buying them and it has been one of the best decisions I have made.

I ran 5miles in the To Bone and Back 40mile relay. Super fun and I cant wait to run it again next year.

Up the nose

Right before nap time, Lucy says to me, "where did fishy go?" I'm thinking, what fishy? Then she says "get it out" as she is pointing to her nose. GREAT! That's when I remember the thing she has been carrying around the house, a little fake worm that she has been calling "fishy".
So I tried and tried to get her to let me get it out, but it seemed like the more I tried the further up her nose it went. Then when Josh got home, he thought of this brilliant idea, not so much. He tried sucking the worm out of her nose with the vacuum. I really think he thought it would work. ha ha, it was a good laugh to see him try.
Anyway, we ended up taking her to an "Urgent Care" to see if they might have better luck than we did.
And yes they did. Josh and I held Lucy down, while she was screaming bloody murder and struggling so hard to get of the doctors table. The doctor was able to stick a few different tools up her nose, and after a few attempts, this little guy finally can out.

. We couldn't even see it in her nose because it was so far up there, so it was hard to believe how big it was when it finally came out. But there was minimal damage done, just a little bloody nose and some snot and now she is doing awesome!
