Right before nap time, Lucy says to me, "where did fishy go?" I'm thinking, what fishy? Then she says "get it out" as she is pointing to her nose. GREAT! That's when I remember the thing she has been carrying around the house, a little fake worm that she has been calling "fishy".
So I tried and tried to get her to let me get it out, but it seemed like the more I tried the further up her nose it went. Then when Josh got home, he thought of this brilliant idea, not so much. He tried sucking the worm out of her nose with the vacuum. I really think he thought it would work. ha ha, it was a good laugh to see him try.
Anyway, we ended up taking her to an "Urgent Care" to see if they might have better luck than we did.
And yes they did. Josh and I held Lucy down, while she was screaming bloody murder and struggling so hard to get of the doctors table. The doctor was able to stick a few different tools up her nose, and after a few attempts, this little guy finally can out.
. We couldn't even see it in her nose because it was so far up there, so it was hard to believe how big it was when it finally came out. But there was minimal damage done, just a little bloody nose and some snot and now she is doing awesome!

Okay I laughed so hard. I can only imagine Josh trying to suck it out. Kaelen did that last year and we had to go to the doctors too to get it out. I guess it is so common. Kaelen acutally did it again last week and he kept pushing the bead up there more. He wouldn't sneeze it out. It finally did come out though and I was so glad. I did not want to go to the doctors to get it out. I can't believe how big her "fishy" was. It is huge. Wow kids are so funny. I would love to know what they think sometimes. Hmm that looks neat lets put it up my nose. So funny.
Oh our precious little Lucy, she is so funny! A vacuum Josh really? That is pretty funny to picture also. Also a little gross and scary for poor little Luc! Thats a bigger fish than I had pictured when you called me. Now you have proof when shes older! Love you guys!brake
